suddenly horny

Look what i found on my traffic desk this morning! A regular press release with Olympus name on it.
These are what's written in the press kit.

"The OM-1 was 35% smaller than comparable cameras from Nikon, Canon, Pentax and Minolta. It was also a bit smaller than a Leica M-series camera, and offered a larger, brighter viewfinder than competitive SLRs. Moreover, it was exceptionally quiet and vibration-free, thanks to a four ball bearing shutter mechanism and a newly developed lightweight curtain drum, which cut down on noise and acted as an air damper for the shutter and mirror mechanisms."

First thing that i love about this camera is it's sexy magnesium-alloy body that looks so vintage. Reminds me of the FM series from Nikon. It is more compact than a DSLR. The Olympus PEN is gaining popularity locally among those who want more than a point and shoot compact camera but don’t want to carry a DSLR. Since im longing for a smaller camera, this one is really catch my eyes, and it is also dust and splash proof! You dont need to worry about hiding your camera when it rains, I think it would be great for traveling and backpacking.

and so the press release continue..

"Underwater Case PT-E08. This is the genuine underwater case for exclusive use with the OLYMPUS OM-D. It makes it possible to create a professional-grade underwater photography system usable at depths up to 45 meters. The compact size and lightweight advantages of the camera body ensure comfortable underwater operation.
The PT-E08 employs a waterproof lens port that is bayonet-mounted and replaceable. The standard underwater lens port accepts the M.ZUIKO DIGITAL 14-42mm f3.5-5.6 II, M.ZUIKO DIGITAL 14-42mm f3.5-5.6 IIR and M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 9-18mm f4.0-5.6 lenses. When an optional port adapter is used, an underwater lens port compliant with the Four Thirds System standard can be attached on it. This design is expected to make the two lenses, the ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 8mm f3.5 Fisheye and ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 50mm f2.0 Macro, usable with the underwater case."

i was so horny for a second there..

"Like the popular PEN Series models, the OLYMPUS OM-D features a compact, lightweight design that’s fully compliant with the Micro Four Thirds System standard. But whereas the PEN Series inherited the convenience, simplicity, and high image quality offered by the PEN Series in the film age, the OLYMPUS OM-D has inherited the tradition of a true system SLR from the OM Series. The OLYMPUS OM-D is designed for serious camera buffs who want to make full use of interchangeable lenses and shoot photographic masterpieces by looking into the viewfinder, without having to worry about the weather or environmental conditions. Sand, sun, sleet, or snow, the OLYMPUS OM-D is a camera that’s ready to go."

and these are the Olympus OM-D E-M5 specification in summarize:

    * 16MP MOS Four Thirds format sensor
    * Weather-sealed body
    * Twin control dials
    * New, '5-axis' image stabilization
    * Shoot at up to ISO 25,600

ngomel

kosong
